He began his professional journey at the defunct FirstInland Bank, where he spent five years as a Relationship and Investment Banker. He later joined Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank), where he dedicated another five years to banking operations. Rising through leadership ranks, Ezekiel headed multiple branch operations in Abuja, Nigeria, overseeing performance management, regulatory compliance, risk control, and operational efficiency. His tenure at GTBank solidified his leadership capabilities and deepened his expertise in large-scale banking systems.

He ultimately rose to the position of Senior Manager, Fraud Analytics, leading data-driven risk management initiatives and strengthening institutional defenses against financial crime.
